From 7pm to 8:30pm, the New York Music and Theater Invention Company will host an evening of new musical theater works at the Ripley-Grier Studios in Manhattan. Scott will be performing in an excerpt of a new musical operetta called "La Ribalta". He will be playing a character loosely based on the Euroopean actor Helmut Burger who starred in a later version of Dorian Gray and was Vicrtorio De Sicas lover.

Scott will be in a special concert performance of Einstein's Dreams to benefit the Harpswell Foundation on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 7:30 pm at the Peter Sharp Theater at Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street.

At the Cell Theater, located at 338 W. 23rd Street, Scott will participate in a closed workshop of the new musical Helen and Teacher

Helen and Teacher is a musical interpretation of the lives and friendship of Helen Keller and her teacher, Anne Sullivan. Playwright/lyricist Susan Russell and composer Lynn Gumert are work-shopping this piece along with director Sarah Bellin. Scott will be playing the role of Anne's Father and Helen Keller's love interest Peter Fagan in this reading.

Scott will be in the showcase production of Love; that 4 Letter Word, A new Musical in early June. He will be playing Cleaver, an actor...not so much a stretch but still a good time.

Scott will be performing the role of "Thadee" in the York Theatre's presentation of Misia. This is a part of their developmental reading series. (Click the logo for more information)

Misia tells the story of Misia Sert, the legendary muse and patroness of fin de siecle Paris whose extraordinary range of artistic discoveries and collaborators included Toulouse-Lautrec, Ravel, Nijinsky  and Serge Diaghilev, all of whom appear in Misia. This previously unknown Vernon Duke score, written in Paris in 1949, receives its New York City premiere.

Scott will be singing two solos in dedication to Tony Award Winner (and Scott's Voice Teacher) Victoria Clark for the Lotte Lehmann Foundation in a private concert on May 13th at Leonard Berstein's former residence at the Dokata in New York City.
